Dr. Raja Hiremani is a Consultant Psychiatrist with Cadabams Hospital, Bangalore. He completed his Specialization in the field of Psychiatry at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, Bangalore. Subsequently, he registered for a Fellowship at The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP). He then went on to serve at the Noarlunga Health Services. He worked as a full-time Psychiatric Consultant at Inner South Community Mental Health Center, Oaklands Park, in SA. This has given him an insight into many socio-cultural communities thus being a master in an interdisciplinary approach to psychiatry.

After this, he moved to Australia to work as a Registrar in Psychiatry between the years 2007 to 2014. He holds adequate training in the areas of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Adult Psychiatry, Rural Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, Anxiety Disorders, and substance use rehabilitation.
